- Screw long ‘handle’ stem into crossbeam with towel. For best results, Rinkboni suggests using a little plumbers tape when screwing into the crossbeam
- Attach plastic valve (included) into top end of handle
- Attach (screw in) standard garden hose to plastic valve
- Attach opposite end of hose to water source (hot or cold)
- Turn on water with Rinkboni valve closed
- Once towel is saturated with water, pull towards self walking backwards collecting excess snow towards end or side of rink while adjusting water flow.
- Allow to dry. Best results when leaving only a thin layer of water on surface
- After 1st coat, repeat when dry and all imperfections will disappear
- When complete, disconnect cross beam (towel) and store inside in above freezing area.
IMPORTANT : Always make sure to keep moving when conditions are below -5 Celsius or towel may stick to ice and damage may occur to towel or handle, thus voiding warranty.
If frozen to ice, pour hot water onto ice surface over towel and peel upwards from the corners.
Note: Base Ice Surface must be present before using Rinkboni.
